               Young Professional Scheme

                                                                   

Since 1988 it has been a trend with in CAPART to select Young Professionals   directly from Institutes covering specific professional courses in Sociology, Science, Management, Forestry, besides Rural Development stream. The students are selected from the streams postgraduates appearing for their final examinations subject to their successful completion of their course and submission of their certificates within three months of their appointment. This year 209 YPs have been selected from 65 rural based Universities and Institutions from all over India.

Before postings of YPs are given Orientation training for two weeks for which Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi and National Institute of Rural Development, Hyderabad institute of repute have been hired for imparting training to newly selected Young Professional. NIRD, Hyderabad and IIPA, New Delhi has trained 146 YPs and they have been posted under the jurisdiction of nine Regional centers of CAPART.

As per the requirement of RCs 64 waitlisted candidates have also been invited to attained the Orientation training programmee which will be held from 10th – 25th September 2007 at KIIT, Bhubaneshwar Orissa.
