Young Professionals’ Refresher Course

CAPART Institute for Poverty Alleviation and Rural Technology (CIPART) is organizing a series of 6 Refresher Courses for its Young Professionals’ at its Janakpuri premises. The 3^rd such course will be held from 8^th to 12^th January 2008 for the YPs posted under RC Dharwad and Patna. The main objective of the course is to equip the YPs with the various aspects, methods and tools of Rural Development. Each batch will consist of 35 YPs.

The course includes interactive sessions on the following:

· Panchayati Raj Systems

Fund raising

· Government interventions in rural development

· Legal and policy environment for NGOs

Project management
Understanding organizations
Project development using logical framework approach
Rural research methods
Gender and development
Business communication
Marketing management
Financial accounting for NGOs
